Modular Accommodation Systems Ltd
(MAS) has been recently formed by Matthias Hamm, a partner of
Bluebase, to specifically develop his idea of a modular stacking solution
for living spaces based on the ISO container standard. The
concept has been initially conceived in 2001 and
subsequently a patent has been filed. Recently the project
has received funding from the LDA to work with the Imperial
College London assessing the viability of the idea. Based on
this assessment MAS has received a second funding round to
develop the project in greater detail and to establish firm
budget estimates. MAS is currently looking for temporary
sites to built a first prototype. Modular Accommodation
Systems Ltd. owns now all the rights to the concept and
related patent.
