Modular Accommodation Systems
Ltd (MAS) has been formed 2007 by the inventor Matthias
Hamm, a founding partner of Bluebase, to specifically
develop his idea of a modular stacking solution for living
spaces based on the ISO container standard. The concept has
been initially conceived in 2000 and subsequently an
international patent has now been granted. The project has
received funding from the LDA to work with the Imperial
College London assessing the viability of the idea. Based on
this assessment MAS has received a second funding round to
develop the project in greater detail and to establish firm
budget estimates. MAS is in talks with investors to built a
showcase on a site in Shoreditch, London. Modular
Accommodation Systems Ltd. owns all the rights of the
concept and related patents.
